A nymph and her hound

The latest challenge from the DSDF blog was a marble sculpture of one of the goddess Diana's companions, a nymph and her hound. We had to include the entire statue. Boy, this was a hard challenge for me. I started by saying “nope, not gonna do it”, and then started to paint an abstract of the statue. But then Susan said I shouldn’t bail, just because this wasn’t in my comfort zone. So here it is.

  3. Thank Cathie . I like it too. I just finished the statue but I don't think it will post on Karin just yet. Keep sketching.
